Job Summary
Conduct systematic and timely maintenance throughout the plant, including painting, cleaning, fixture/tooling fabrication, and installing belts, bearings, and chains. Manage preventative maintenance and new equipment installation to maintain available equipment uptime and complete instrument calibration and temperature surveys. Supervise and direct all maintenance department employees, handling discipline and reviews while promoting safety, good housekeeping, and EMS compliance. Ensure customer inventory is cared for and treated safely to prevent loss or damage. Requires advanced electrical training, welding/cutting skills, blueprint interpretation, and forklift certification. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to satisfy ITAR compliance.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders
- College or technical degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance
- 5 years industrial maintenance experience
- advanced training in electrical experience
- skills to effectively supervise and direct the work of maintenance department employees
- experience with welding, cutting, brazing, etc.
- working knowledge of electricity
- general knowledge of hydraulics and furnaces
- ability to read and interpret blueprints
- forklift operator certification
- ability to read, write and communicate the English language
- Knowledge and hands on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases
Desired Qualifications
- College or technical degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred
