Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for a multi-site property management company. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance activities (appearance, safety, preventative maintenance, repairs, make-readies), coordinating service requests, scheduling preventative maintenance, managing inventory and budget, training and mentoring staff, ensuring safety compliance, engaging with residents, performing emergency call-backs, and supporting groundskeeping and housekeeping tasks as needed. Requires 5+ years maintenance experience with tile, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC; EPA Type I/II or Universal and CPO certifications; supervisory experience preferred; able to work a varied schedule including weekends/holidays; valid driver's license; strong leadership and communication skills; knowledge of Fair Housing and ADA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; trade school degree preferred
- Minimum five years’ maintenance experience, including tile, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair
- EPA Certification Type I and II, or Universal, and CPO certification required
- CAMT certification preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- Valid driver’s license
- Adept at building relationships and teamwork
- Experience supervising maintenance teams
- Fair Housing and ADA compliance knowledge
