Job Summary
Oversee daily maintenance operations and supervise a team of maintenance employees, ensuring physical upkeep meets company safety and operating standards. Manage work orders, make-ready apartments, and contracted vendor schedules while tracking inventory and maintaining safety records in company software. Lead pre-move-out and preventative maintenance inspections, oversee community grounds and systems testing, and handle emergency after-hours calls. This Full-Time role requires a minimum of 3 years of supervisory maintenance experience, proficiency in Yardi software, and valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of related maintenance experience, preferably at a supervisory level
- High school education or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out duties
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer relevant professional certifications such as CPO and CAMT
- Experience successfully leading a team with the ability to source, interview and manage employee performance
- High level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations including electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, appliance repair, carpentry, and painting
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Fair Housing and other applicable local, state, or federal regulations
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to address the needs of residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Proficient using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and property management software, preferably Yardi
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
