Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and physical upkeep of assigned communities, including grounds, pools, common areas, and building systems. Lead and supervise maintenance staff, manage work orders, handle make-ready tasks, and coordinate with vendors for repairs and landscape maintenance. Conduct regular inspections, schedule emergency response rotations, and ensure safety compliance across all facilities. Track inventory, maintain software records, and resolve resident service issues to uphold community standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of related maintenance experience, preferably at a supervisory level
- High school education or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out duties
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen required
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer relevant professional certifications such as CPO and CAMT
- Experience successfully leading a team with the ability to source, interview and manage employee performance
- High level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations including electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, appliance repair, carpentry, and painting
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Fair Housing and other applicable local, state, or federal regulations
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to address the needs of residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Proficient using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and property management software, preferably Yardi
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
