Job Summary
Oversee maintenance operations by leading, scheduling, and training the team while coordinating service requests, preventive programs, and repair activities. Perform and supervise repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems; conduct inspections of apartments, common areas, and grounds to identify needs. Manage apartment make-ready operations for vacant homes, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and maintain accurate records and inventory. Respond to emergency situations and participate in the required on-call rotation. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies. Requires three years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and ability to work flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or vocational training
- Three or more years of building, facilities, apartment, or property maintenance experience
- previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance practices
- HVAC certification
- trade certifications in electrical, plumbing, or related fields
- Ability to read diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, and safety documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
