Job Summary
Prioritize repairs and preventive maintenance activities across all production machinery and facilities while troubleshooting electrical and mechanical defects. Manage contractors, vendors, and project budgets alongside purchasing and CMMS programming. Conduct safety training and mentor employees, adhering to strict local, state, and federal laws including OSHA and National Electrical Code. Work safely in industrial environments with exposure to high voltages, chemicals, and confined spaces. Fulfill Safety Coordinator duties and cross-train staff on troubleshooting processes. Respond promptly to after-hours calls and perform overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience a Maintenance Supervisor/Manager or other leadership position in an industrial setting
- Proven high performance leadership skills
- High level of dedication and motivation for your job with a positive attitude
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
- Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to read and write English
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
- Strong problem solving skills a must
- Strong communication skills and good attention to detail
- Education and/ or experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Must provide required tools and secure storage for them
- Excellent attendance with the requirement for overtime work as needed
- The ability to respond to an after-hours call in, promptly anytime day or night
- Advanced Computer and industrial automation skills
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a job related field
- Telephone
- EPA 608, 609 universal certification is preferred
- Engineering and project management experience
- Motion control and PLC experience
