Maintenance Supervisor- Avery Lake Worth

Job Summary
Oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Manage the maintenance team, conduct employee evaluations, and interview, hire, and train new hires. Lead the "Make Ready" process from start to finish and complete work orders generated from resident requests by diagnosing defects and making repairs. Periodically inspect work performed by team members and contractors to verify quality and develop corrective action plans. Maintain inventory of spare parts, order supplies with the Community Manager, and assist in developing budgets for maintenance and capital expenses. Complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures, resolve customer complaints, and ensure property compliance with safety laws and standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and MSDS regulations
- Current Valid Driver's License
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- A valid Certified Pool Operator or a Certified Spa and Pool Operator certificate
- All certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions
- Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
- 1 - 3 Years Proven skills sufficient to hire, lead, direct, evaluate, and manage subordinates and team members
- 1 - 3 Years Management Experience
- Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs for reporting purposes
- Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata Yardi and/or One Site)

- 2-3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent
