Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate multifamily property upkeep in Warrensville Heights, OH. Responsibilities include overseeing property maintenance across residential units and common areas, minimizing operational costs through proactive maintenance, applying expertise in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and painting, and fostering strong resident relations. The role requires supervising maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to work hours and company policies, coordinating with the property and regional managers, scheduling contractors, handling on-call emergencies, assisting in apartment inspections, and ensuring units are ready within 3-5 days of move-out. Strong leadership, communication, safety awareness, and familiarity with Yardi/Nexus are preferred. Pay starts at $28.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in multifamily property maintenance or related field
- Proven experience in various aspects of building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and appliance repair
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage a maintenance team effectively
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with residents, employees, property managers, and contractors
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Hands-on expertise in general maintenance tasks and equipment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines pertaining to property maintenance
- Familiarity with accounting software preferred (Yardi & Nexus strongly preferred)
- Organizational and time-management skills
