Job Summary
Oversee maintenance and repair for 125 luxury townhomes across two communities, ensuring all service requests are completed within 24 hours. Supervise, train, and lead a team of maintenance technicians while inspecting facilities to record and correct deficiencies. Perform daily HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and minor drywall repairs, coordinating with vendors to order supplies within budget. Manage keys, maintain accurate work records, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and safety regulations. Assist residents with exceptional service, handle on-call duties including evening and weekend rotations, and support apartment make-readies. Work Monday through Friday with rotating on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Universal / HVAC certification
- Minimum of basic language skills in English
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience
- Experience managing a team of maintenance technicians
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed
- Basic computer skills, including email and some Microsoft products
- CPO certification
- REAC inspection experience
- Must take pride in their work
- Must have the ability to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers, and management
- Must be able to commit to standard work schedule
- Availability for after-hours emergency responsibilities and general on-call rotation schedule
