Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor leads and supervises maintenance staff (Maintenance Specialists, Mechanics, Trainees, Janitors, Grounds Staff) to deliver timely maintenance and repairs for tenants and non-dwelling spaces. Responsibilities include day-to-day supervision, completing work orders, procurement tasks, weekly reporting to the Regional Maintenance Superintendent, quality control checks, scheduling and monitoring staff, staff performance appraisals, providing technical guidance, daily field inspections, coordinating with the Property Manager on vacancies and site needs, preparing scopes of work, ensuring Make Ready units meet schedules, and ensuring safety and productivity standards. Requires strong supervisory, planning, and reporting skills, ability to read and prepare reports, and excellent communication with tenants and staff; high school diploma and five years in residential maintenance/re han or construction with at least one year supervisory experience; valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma
- Five years of experience in residential maintenance, rehab or construction
- At least one year of supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
