Job Summary
Oversee the general upkeep of the physical plant, property, and grounds while ensuring patient and visitor safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Manage the maintenance staff and respond to requests from other departments, patients, families, and staff. Prioritize tasks and maintain a task list while adhering to all State, Federal, and company safety, infection control, and applicable standards. Teach and mentor others in basic skills and policies, following required safety standards. Work full-time (35-40 hours/week) at $20-$23.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Have an understanding of electrical, plumbing, and heating, and general maintenance ability
- Are willing to learn, follow, and teach required safety standards
- Have some supervisory experience, and possess the ability to lead a small team
- Have good communication skills
- Are professional and appropriate in appearance and behavior
- Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
- Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility
- Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training
- Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
