Job Summary
Oversee maintenance operations at apartment communities in the Southeast, leading a hands-on team to perform interior and exterior repairs, groundskeeping, and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities include supervising and coaching maintenance staff, preparing move-in readiness through painting and repairs, responding to resident service requests with exemplary customer service, managing vendor relationships for services like landscaping and painting, and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with housing laws and OSHA standards. The role requires strong technical expertise across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems, plus the ability to train and develop a high-performing team and maintain a well-maintained, safe, and visually appealing community.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC certified
- HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications required
- Strong technical maintenance skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Proven leadership and training abilities to mentor staff
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with OSHA, fair housing regulations, and regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC certification
