Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor responsible for directing and performing interior and exterior maintenance, repairs, and groundkeeping for a multi-family housing community. Oversees maintenance staff, schedules preventative maintenance, handles on-call emergency procedures, ensures compliance with housing laws and safety standards, and delivers high-quality resident service. Responsibilities include preparing market-ready apartments (painting, carpet repairs, cleaning), routine maintenance (HVAC/plumbing/electrical/ carpentry), responding to resident requests, supervising personnel, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining safety and privacy protocols while supporting budget needs and occupancy goals.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years previous maintenance experience preferably in a multi-family housing environment
- HVAC, EPA and/or CPO certifications required
- HVAC certified
- A High School degree or equivalent is required
- Must demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Must demonstrate ability to successfully work on a team
- Must be able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required
