Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor at Arcan Capital leads a hands-on maintenance team to manage interior/exterior repairs, groundskeeping, and preventive maintenance across multi-family properties. Oversees service requests from residents, schedules and coaches staff, ensures safety compliance (OSHA, housing regulations), and maintains high-quality move-in readiness. Key responsibilities include coordinating HVAC/plumbing/electrical/carpentry repairs, preventive maintenance scheduling, vendor management for landscaping/painting/asphalt work, and enforcing safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Experience in maintenance in a multi-family housing environment is preferred
- Proficiency with maintenance management software
- Strong technical troubleshooting across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical systems
- Customer service and communication abilities
- On-call availability
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and fair housing regulations
- Valid driver’s license if applicable
