Job Summary
Oversee all maintenance operations including interior and exterior repairs, groundskeeping, and preventative maintenance schedules. Respond promptly to resident service requests while managing vendor relationships for landscaping, painting, and asphalt work. Recruit, train, and supervise the maintenance team, providing ongoing coaching and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, OSHA standards, and housing regulations while maintaining resident privacy. This hands-on leadership role supports Arcan Capital's mission to provide exceptional living experiences across Southeastern apartment properties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–5 years of maintenance experience
- Prior experience in personnel supervision
- HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work on-call, weekends, and holidays
- Adherence to OSHA, fair housing, and regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications
- Maintenance experience preferably within a multi-family housing environment
- Proficiency in computer applications, including email and maintenance management software
