Job Summary
Conduct corrective and preventative maintenance on automated food production machinery while supervising a small team of technicians. Manage inventory for critical spare parts, liaise with international suppliers, and ensure proper documentation aligned with BRC, GFSI, HACCP, and GMP frameworks. Requires bilingual communication skills and proficiency in CAD drawings, Excel, and Word. One year of food industry experience is mandatory, alongside five total years in maintenance and two years in leadership. Salary ranges from 70 to 80 K per year plus generous benefits. Required Qualifications
- Leadership skills
- Mechanical or electromechanical technician or technologist
- At least one year of experience in the food processing industry
- Familiarity to BRC, GFSI, HACCP, and GMP frameworks
- At least five total years of industry experience
- Two years of any kind of leadership experience (professional, academic or community)
- One year in the food industry as a maintenance technician
- Strong skills in reading CAD drawings
- Strong skills in Excel
- Strong skills in Word software
- Bilingualism (French and English)
