Job Summary
Conduct troubleshooting and repair work on plant and facility equipment while executing preventive maintenance activities to ensure sustainable production output, quality, and safety. Make decisions on specialized inspections including electrical competent isolations, lockout/tagout, and confined space entries, and select tools and equipment for critical maintenance tasks. Evaluate incoming spare parts against buyer's quality specifications, reject non-compliant items, and rectify vendor errors. Decide on parts replacement during maintenance and stop equipment or processes that fail to meet quality and safety requirements. Source maintenance parts from suppliers and manage continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of Polytechnic or D3/diploma degree in electrical / electronic engineering
- 3~5 years experiences in maintenance activities
- good understanding of equipment & operation process
- Profound knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Competent in electrical works
- able to read electrical diagram
- system troubleshooting
- include Automation/PLC programming
- Competent in continuous improvement concept & culture
- Good awareness and knowledge related with Quality
- knowledge related with HSE&S aspects includes legal requirement
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge in computers software operation
