Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate maintenance work orders and oversee a team of 5-6 maintenance staff in a food manufacturing facility. Responsible for supervising scheduling, time and attendance, and performance feedback; coordinating with plant engineers and Continuous Improvement on major maintenance projects; ensuring rapid response to line breakdowns; conducting failure analysis and implementing preventive measures; and communicating status reports to cross-functional supervisors. Requires leadership experience in a food manufacturing setting, a degree in Engineering or a related technical field, knowledge of HACCP/USDA/GMP practices, and familiarity with CMMS; bilingual skills are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; equivalent technical diploma in Industrial Mechanics with 3 years of strong leadership within a Food manufacturing facility will be considered
- Strong interpersonal skills, including professional oral and written communication, a team-focused approach, and the ability to make decisions in stressful situations
- Regulatory compliance knowledge, including USDA regulations, HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety (SQF)
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
