Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor on 3rd shift responsible for supervising maintenance of company aircraft, coordinating work with Leads and Technicians, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures, training staff, managing performance and bench strength, communicating issues to Maintenance Control/OCC/Line Maintenance Manager, maintaining aircraft records and training requirements, and ensuring safety and efficiency on shift. Requires FAA-certificated mechanic with Airframe/Powerplant ratings, experience supervising maintenance on large aircraft (Boeing 747-400 or 777F/777-300 or equivalent), ability to pass a 10-year background check, and SIDA/Customs Badge if required. Office/ hanger/shop environment; physically strenuous duties; location Oscoda, MI.
Required Qualifications
- FAA-certificated mechanic with Airframe, Powerplant or both ratings
- two (2) years of experience performing maintenance on large aircraft (Boeing 747-400 or 777F / 777-300 or similar)
- Ability to read/write/speak English and produce routine reports
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
