Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor for a 104-unit apartment community in Sacramento, CA. Responsibilities include completing repairs of all sizes, assessing work to be done in make-ready units, handling work orders, executing preventative maintenance, and providing excellent service to residents. Must live on site in a company-provided 2 bed/1 bath unit and participate in on-call rotation. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Requires strong knowledge of property-management maintenance, proficiency with computers/database/calendar management for capital improvements, high organization, proactive emergency handling, and effective resident interaction. Supervises a staff of at least two and has 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor
- Experience supervising a staff of at least 2 employees
- Must be able to live on site in company-provided unit
- Strong knowledge of all-around maintenance in the property management field for 100+ unit property
- Proficiency with computers, database and calendar management for capital improvements
- Excellent organization, ability to work at a fast pace, follow through
- Proactive in emergencies and after-hours calls
- Ability to prioritize tasks, problem solve, and interact with residents
