Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily maintenance operations for foundry equipment, leading and developing a team of maintenance technicians to support company objectives while ensuring safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include supervising, training, and mentoring the maintenance team; assigning tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with production management to minimize downtime and address emergency equipment repairs. Will identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and preventive maintenance standards, maintain accurate records, uphold 5S, and perform additional duties as assigned. Requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in maintaining manufacturing equipment and meeting deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in maintenance operations
- Technical accreditation from a recognized institution or completion of a skilled trades program
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, including hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices
