Job Summary
Directly supervise and coach Maintenance Technicians in assigned areas, driving continuous improvement of equipment uptime and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) using EMS Lean tools. Lead maintenance programs through CMMS, procure tools/equipment, and manage capital improvement projects including costing, vendor selection, and proposals. Organize and prioritize multiple tasks; diagnose and solve production problems related to equipment, maintenance, and manufacturing methods; implement root cause analysis and engage technicians in problem-solving. Proficient in reading technical drawings and working with PLCs, pneumatics, and motor controls in a continuous process system; apply uptime improvements and scrap reduction techniques while owning area OEE and process delivery results.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or related field
- 5 years of experience in maintenance within manufacturing
- Minimum 3 years of prior supervisory experience
- Experience leading projects in manufacturing maintenance groups (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and blueprints
- Experience with PLC, pneumatic and motor controls in a continuous process system
- CMMS knowledge and Microsoft Office proficiency
