Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor on 2nd shift in Napoleon, OH responsible for screening work orders, coordinating maintenance activities, procuring tools, communicating with contractors and vendors, maintaining PM programs, and supervising department staff; requires TPM/continuous improvement experience, Journeyman-level technical background, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong risk assessment, and ability to travel for DOS/sister-plant workshops; must be a U.S. citizen or legal alien and able to pass pre-employment screenings.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have prior supervision or leadership experience
- In-depth knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance, continuous improvement, predictive/preventive maintenance programs, and proven effectiveness in MTTF/MTBF reductions
- Technical experience of Journeymen level
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to appropriately assess and manage risk factors
- Self-motivated, effective oral and written communication and presentation skills, along with good organizational skills
- Must have the ability to work off shift and work overtime and weekends as required
- Ability to travel for education, training, and maintenance department representation for DOS or sister plant workshops
- Must have excellent attendance record
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Kanban
- Must have the ability to lead projects
- Must be a US Citizen, or a legal alien
- Must be 18 years of age, or older
- Must meet the physical requirements for this position
- Must be able to pass Drug Test & Pre-Employment verifications
