Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Oversee all maintenance and repair activities, directing the workforce on day-to-day assignments and managing technician schedules and timecards. Lead a team of skilled technicians in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, servos, and HMIs. Conduct audits on work quality, review planning with the maintenance manager, and minimize downtime through corrective and preventative maintenance programs. Assist with capital improvement projects, new machinery installations, and spare parts inventory. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate technician qualifications for training needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Analysis of equipment problems
- Identify root causes of equipment problems
- Project management skills
- Technical reading
- Supervision skills
- The ability to lead and direct continuous improvement concepts
- Clear written and verbal communications
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, charts)
- Knowledge/Experience with of PLCs, digital and analog sensors
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Can work as a collaborator
- Experience with servo motors, encoders, pumps, gearboxes, steam, and ammonia
- Must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily
Desired Qualifications
- Blow molding experience is also a plus
- Ammonia and boiler systems experience is a plus
- Union experience is a plus
- Food facility experience is a plus
