Job Summary
Oversee maintenance staff and interns; perform repairs in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical; maintain preventative maintenance for cooling/heating and domestic hot water systems; ensure inspection and documentation of sprinkler systems, fire alarm system, and fire extinguishers; arrange for and supervise outside contractors; receive and store deliveries; move furniture as needed; participate in fire safety and drills; on-call for emergencies with potential early/late hours.
Required Qualifications
- Five years experience in building maintenance
- experience in trades is helpful
- Prior supervisory experience
- Ability to use independent discretion and judgement
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Ability to communicate in English
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Vaccination preferred but not required
