Job Summary
Coordinate the maintenance function for preventative and breakdown maintenance, providing leadership to the Plant Maintenance team through clear work instructions, defined expectations, and regular performance monitoring. Lead plant improvements related to maintenance, ensure adherence to HACCP/GMP, OH&S programs, and safety and quality parameters, and manage contractors. Plan and organize equipment, parts, and tools; prioritize workload; maintain and update maintenance data and records; conduct root cause analysis for production/maintenance issues; align with Production Supervisor and Plant Maintenance Manager to create adequate maintenance windows; drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and customer service within the site. Key focus on coaching trades groups, managing maintenance budget, and ensuring effective communication through shift handovers and training material development. The role spans maintenance, engineering solutions, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration to sustain plant reliability and performance.
