Maintenance Supervisor (1st Shift)

Job Summary
Lead and supervise 1st shift maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment and facility systems; provide electrical troubleshooting for production equipment including PLCs, motor controls, drives, sensors, and automation; drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and uptime; coordinate with production, engineering, and quality to minimize downtime; manage spare parts inventory, budgeting, and contractor engagements; ensure safety compliance (LOTO and electrical standards) and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement; supervise and develop maintenance technicians, prioritize daily work, and support installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems including 24VDC through 480VAC systems
- Motor controls and starters
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Sensors, relays, and control circuits
- Electrical schematics and blueprints
