Job Summary
Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold quality and safety standards while managing work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules. Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care, ensuring compliance with safety and housing regulations. Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks as needed. Maintain a Monday–Friday schedule with 40 hours, including an on-call rotation requiring 30-minute response times and potential weekend coverage for leasing and rent collection support.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience, including team supervision
- HVAC certification
- knowledge of inspections
- knowledge of preventive maintenance
- knowledge of Fair Housing
- Expertise in plumbing
- Expertise in electrical
- Expertise in carpentry
- Expertise in painting
- Expertise in safety compliance
- Experience managing budgets
- Experience managing vendors
- Experience managing maintenance schedules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Yardi or similar systems
- Reliable transportation
- ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call emergencies
- High school diploma or GED
- Work schedules may include Saturdays
