Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive maintenance inspections, repairs, and janitorial assistance across residential sites, including light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and custodial tasks. Coordinate contractor activities, manage material stock, and maintain accurate records for work orders, inventories, and annual inspections. Perform scheduled equipment maintenance, ensure safety compliance with OSHA standards and building codes, and assist with resident move-in/out inspections. Operate on an on-call rotation for evening, weekend, and holiday emergency coverage while ensuring storage areas and entrances remain secure.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more year's full-time maintenance experience
- experience in related field
- Residential Property maintenance experience
- Formal training or experience in carpentry
- Formal training or experience in light plumbing work
- Formal training or experience in light electrical work
- Formal training or experience in painting
- Formal training or experience in refurbishing
- Formal training or experience in cleaning
- Formal training or experience in air-conditioning
- Any specific skill required by the property
- Willingness to assist with and work in areas other than strictly repair maintenance
- Willingness to work in janitorial
- Willingness to work in custodial
- Willingness to work in gardening
- Willingness to work in painting
- Boiler license
- Familiarity with contract work hours
- Familiarity with OSHA Standards
- High School degree
- Valid Driver's License

- Mechanical/Trade skills and abilities
- Ability to work with co-workers and residents professionally in a demanding environment
- Ability to work safely and follow safety directives
- Ability to read, speak and comprehend work instructions and safety notices in the English language
