Job Summary
Maintenance Superintendent role at Rock Pointe in Thomasville, AL, responsible for the preservation and upkeep of the property under OSHA standards; perform preventive maintenance, repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting; coordinate with Community Manager, maintain records, train colleagues, and participate in standby emergency schedules; requires strong safety, communication, and time-management skills and High School Diploma or equivalent. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- EPA certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire/promotion
- Knowledge of property HVAC units and ability to troubleshoot (fan motors, thermostats, contractors)
- Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing work
- Carpentry and cabinet/furniture repair
- Painting and unit refurbishing
- Ability to operate and use safety equipment; adherence to OSHA standards
- Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID
