Job Summary
Maintenance Superintendent responsible for analyzing repair/improvement demands on site manufacturing equipment, developing efficient maintenance strategy, supervising contractors per EHS regs, evaluating equipment performance and feasibility of new/modified plant equipment, leveraging CAD/CAE tools for plant design, and managing capital projects from scope to closeout. Requires hands-on electrical/mechanical expertise, CMMS familiarity, heavy manufacturing exposure, and willingness to work long hours, weekends, and on-call emergencies. Knowledge of mining methods, MSHA regulations, and PM/PdM program implementation is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, Industrial or Electrical)
- Electrical experience
- Mechanical experience
- Boots on the ground experience
- Low and Medium voltage experience
- 8-10 years Engineering experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical background
- Must be willing to work some weekends
- Must be able to be on call for emergencies on off shifts
- Minimum work hours is 55 hours per week
- Manufacturing experience
