Job Summary
Maintenance Superintendent to lead a 3-shift maintenance team, drive safety and operational excellence, and oversee PM/PdM programs across heavy mobile equipment, stationary processing systems, and underground hoisting infrastructure. Responsible for asset reliability (mobile fleet, crushers, conveyors, hoists, plant utilities), root-cause analysis to minimize failures, storeroom/inventory management, spare parts procurement, department budgeting, and execution of capital projects. Role emphasizes leadership, safety culture, and continuous improvement in a mining/processing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent
- 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial maintenance or reliability
- 7+ years of direct leadership experience supervising multi-craft, multi-shift maintenance teams
- 5+ years of experience within mining industry with underground operations and hoisting systems preferred
- Expert-level knowledge of CMMS
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and procurement processes
- Ability to wear PPE and work in varying temperature environments
- Pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background check required
