Maintenance Superintendent

Supervise workers on major painting projects, structural repairs, and maintenance of building utility systems including electrical wiring, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Direct employees maintaining plant equipment, facilities, and production machinery while establishing preventive maintenance programs and interpreting company policies. Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and resolve operational problems to ensure equipment meets standards with minimal downtime. Requisition tools and supplies, inspect work against blueprints, and administer training for proper operations. May oversee ground maintenance activities and custodial services. Requires four years in poultry or food manufacturing, proficiency in electrical systems, pipe fitting, welding, and PLCs, plus Haz-Mat qualification.
