Maintenance Superintendent, Cement Plant

Job Summary
Lead mechanical maintenance at Amrize's flagship cement plant; develop and implement maintenance plans, oversee Mechanical replacement CAPEX, manage budgets for maintenance materials and services, and drive reliability improvements while ensuring health, safety, and environmental policies are followed. Provide input for department budgeting based on target production and operating times; supervise the mechanical maintenance team, coordinate repairs and installations, document changes for future reference, and promote a culture of safety across all work areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial)
- 5-10 years of combined management level and cement industry experience in a site leadership role
- Knowledge of maintenance planning and systems
- Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Project Management
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements including respirator fit testing
