Maintenance Superintendent - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Lead the team that keeps operations running at peak performance by overseeing maintenance operations for a designated area or shift, guiding skilled technicians, and driving equipment reliability. Assist in planning, organizing, and directing the development of the maintenance work plan while assigning methods and procedures. Develop new layout designs for installing new equipment or modifying existing processes, and prepare estimates for needed equipment, materials, and labor. Supervise the repair of building, mechanical, and structural problems, and review completed work orders to establish work policies and repair standards. Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program using the Computerized Maintenance Management System to increase equipment reliability and minimize production downtime. Identify chronic maintenance problem areas and recommend courses of action to repair, modify, or replace equipment based on machine history data. Ensure all Maintenance Department activities adhere to USDA regulations and plant quality control standards by monitoring compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 3-5 years related experience
- Experience in layout
- Experience in drafting
- Experience in project management
- Experience in ergonomic design
- Experience in Industrial Engineering
- Experience in CAD Operation
- Experience in USDA requirements
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
