Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks as directed. Perform drywall, paint, stain, and refinish work while ensuring the facility remains presentable, sanitary, and properly maintained for resident comfort. Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies. Demonstrate care for others and communicate professionally with staff and residents.
Required Qualifications
- Must demonstrate care for others
- Ability to communicate with staff and residents in a professional, but compassionate manner
- Be detail-oriented
- Have working knowledge of housekeep and maintenance functions
- Must have experience in repairing drywall, paint, stain, and refinish
- Must be able to follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies
- Must be able to perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures
