Maintenance Staff

Maintenance Assistant provides ongoing preventative maintenance and resident assistance, building and grounds maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance problems and various related tasks as assigned. Performs most tasks independently with occasional assistance of outside vendor. Responds to maintenance emergencies outside regular hours. Emphasizes safety procedures and infection control where applicable; requires self-motivation, ability to set priorities and complete tasks timely, and a courteous, respectful attitude toward residents, families, staff and visitors. Requires knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electricity and mechanics; valid driver’s license with clean driving record. PSL serves 50+ long-term care facilities across six Western states and operates with a Service Center to support on-site leaders and caregivers.
