Job Summary
Maintenance Specialist responsible for general maintenance across Vail Health facilities, including life safety systems, preventive/corrective maintenance on buildings and grounds, use of work order system, basic HVAC/building automation, generator testing, and ensuring safety and HIPAA compliance. Role involves moving equipment and facilities supplies, operating fire suppression/detection systems, performing life safety/environment of care rounds, and upholding Just Culture values. Requires interpreting blueprints/schematics and working with meters/test equipment; three years of maintenance experience and Colorado driver’s license are required. Required Qualifications
- Three years of maintenance experience required, reading blueprints and schematics, using meters and test equipment
- Experience in healthcare setting preferred
- Must have valid State of Colorado Driver's license and ability to pass DMV criteria
- Must possess basic computer skills to complete online requirements
- Must have working knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking)
