Job Summary
Maintenance Specialist at GE Medical Systems Israel Ltd responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex medical imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety. Responsibilities include scheduled preventative maintenance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools, conducting corrective and emergency repairs to minimize downtime, documenting all service activities, maintaining knowledge of GE Medical Systems product lines and software, complying with ISO/FDA safety and quality standards, managing spare parts inventory, collaborating with engineering, sales, and customer service, and participating in on-call rotations for emergency service outside normal hours.
Required Qualifications
- Practical engineer degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent military experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of complex production environment
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach
- Proficiency in using various diagnostic tools and test equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Proficiency with computer systems and standard office software
