Maintenance Specialist/Coordinator

Job Summary
Assist in building and organizing the facility Asset Hierarchy database; collect and enter equipment data including serial numbers, model numbers, manufacturer information, and descriptions; document asset locations; walk the production floor to verify machinery information; ensure accuracy and consistency of maintenance and asset records; collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to gather missing information; organize maintenance documentation and equipment records; support continuous improvement of asset management processes; 100-hour contract with potential to transition to longer-term or full-time based on performance; must be local to the Waukesha, WI area or able to commute daily to 53186.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude or maintenance background preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities, or asset management environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working both on the production floor and in computer systems/databases
- Experience with CMMS, ERP, or asset management systems is a plus
- Ability to accurately manage large amounts of data entry and documentation
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
