Job Summary
Maintenance Specialist responsible for routine maintenance of the recreation center facility, grounds, ball fields, and outdoor areas; field prep and setup/teardown of athletic events; basic repairs of buildings, equipment, and utilities; operation of hand and power tools and heavy equipment; landscaping and snow/ice removal; completing work orders, reporting safety concerns, and coordinating with supervisors and seasonal staff; on-call as required; requires 18+ with background checks and a high school diploma or equivalent, plus CPR/AED certification and a valid Colorado Driver's License. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with a 32-hour workweek paid as 40 hours and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree preferred
- One year of landscaping, laboring, turf maintenance, horticultural, arboricultural, equipment operations or related experience
- Valid Colorado Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
