Job Summary

Conduct expert-level break-fix and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and complex systems while troubleshooting production lines. Program, analyze, and resolve software/hardware issues in control systems using predictive technologies like infrared thermography and vibration analysis. Lead Continuous Improvement activities to drive cost savings and identify parts or engineered solutions for improved reliability. Operate machining tools including lathes and drills to make or repair parts, while independently performing maintenance per industry standards. Update CMMS records, analyze data for cost analysis proposals, and train less proficient technicians. Comply with safety policies, 5S standards, and technical guidelines within a factory environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 10 years of experience in specific industry
  • Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment
  • Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs
  • Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
  • May be required to travel
