Job Summary
Maintenance Specialist at YouFit Gyms to ensure cleanliness, safety, and an inviting environment for members and guests. Responsibilities include cleaning all areas (restrooms, locker rooms, workout spaces, common areas), sanitizing cardio machines and equipment, restocking supplies, floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming), handling spills and biohazard cleanup, reporting facility maintenance issues (plumbing, fixtures), performing minor repairs (replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures), following sanitation checklists, interacting professionally with members and staff, and working as part of a team to maintain a well-maintained gym environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English. Fluency in multiple languages is favored.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or maintenance roles is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to complete assigned tasks
- Willingness to use cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment safely following company guidelines
- Physical Demands: active role requiring frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds
