Job Summary

Maintenance Specialist responsible for electrical or mechanical troubleshooting of electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment per layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, or rough sketches. Use test/diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts and rebuild equipment as required. Perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers and apply predictive maintenance techniques to improve efficiency. Maintain and improve the quality system and records; provide setup support for manufacturing areas; assist with installation, validation, startup, and decommissioning of new equipment; may provide emergency call-in support for off-hours. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalency and 4 years of related operations or manufacturing experience; relocation benefits are not available for this posting. Preferred: Associates degree or equivalent military training.
