Job Summary
Inspect and test machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment, listening for unusual sounds to diagnose malfunctions. Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts following specifications and blueprints, while cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, and gears. Repair and maintain physical structures, operate cutting torches or welding equipment, and fabricate wooden structures like counters and benches. Assess procedures and make recommendations for improvement. Requires a high school diploma, relevant licenses, and repair work experience. Must possess a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
