Job Summary
Maintenance Shop Technician B performs repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical, air brake systems, engine work, HVAC, suspension, drive train, and steering. Responsibilities include line welding/fabrication, on-site and on-road maintenance, road service when needed, identifying malfunctions with electronic tools, and completing company training programs. Qualified candidates typically have 3-5 years of technician experience (gasoline and diesel), ASE certifications are a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, teamwork, and contributing to community service and a stable, rewarding career path.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 Years of experience in a technician position demonstrating knowledge of both gasoline and diesel-powered equipment diagnosis and repair or graduating from an accredited automotive college or technical school within the next 3 months.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and consistently demonstrate technical expertise
