Job Summary
Maintain and repair diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis components, refuse bodies, control systems, hydraulic electrical, air brake systems, general engine work, HVAC, suspension, drive train, and steering systems. Perform basic tire work, line maintenance welding, and fabrication while diagnosing malfunctions using electronic tools. Conduct preventative and repair maintenance on-site and on the road to ensure equipment returns to operation safely and efficiently. Complete applicable company training programs and work a regular shift supporting drivers running their routes.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 Years of experience in a technician position demonstrating knowledge of both gasoline and diesel-powered equipment diagnosis and repair
- Graduating from an accredited automotive college or technical school within the next 3 months
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications (T1-T8)
- Commercial Driver's License
