Job Summary
Maintain and repair diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis components, refuse bodies, air brake systems, engines, HVAC, and suspension. Diagnose electrical concerns using scan tools and perform complex repair functions on-site and on the road. Complete applicable company training programs and identify malfunction sources with electronic tools. Work a regular second shift starting at 4 PM.
Required Qualifications
- 5 -7 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to diagnose multi-system issues
- Ability to consistently demonstrate technical expertise
- Ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision in some of the following heavy truck, or automotive systems: Suspensions & Steering, General Engine, Transmissions, Brakes, Electrical, Hydraulics, Drive Train, Diesel Emissions
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8)
- LNG and/or CNG experience
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License
- Preferred CDL B
