Job Summary
Lead chassis and refuse body maintenance, including hydraulic, electrical, heating, and air conditioning systems, while diagnosing complex repairs and performing line maintenance welding. Direct a team of technicians to ensure all repair work adheres to safety standards and federal regulations, scheduling tasks to minimize lost productivity. Inspect third-party vendor repairs and provide coaching on diagnostic techniques using electronic tools to identify malfunction sources. Maintain expert proficiency in engine, suspension, drivetrain, and braking systems while completing applicable company training programs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a role requiring compliance with OSHA Haz Com, OSHA Lock Out Tag Out, and all OSHA fire protection regulations
- At least 1 year of supervisory or lead technician experience
- ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8)
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License
