Job Summary
Maintains the physical facility, grounds and equipment to ensure a safe, attractive living environment for individuals receiving services. Responsibilities include ongoing preventative maintenance, repairs of kitchen, housekeeping and mechanical equipment (including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and laundry systems), inspecting and repairing damages to buildings, painting surfaces, ordering supplies, maintaining tools and equipment, overseeing fire alarm and safety systems (smoke/heat detectors, fire pulls, extinguishers, sprinkler systems), servicing appliance motors and room exhaust systems, assisting with facility vehicle maintenance, and keeping operational records while enforcing safety regulations. Travel as needed. Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent and one year related experience; and a current contractor license as required by state.
